C&C and Co.......

I had a fabulous time hanging with this family! I owe a mighty "THANK YOU" for a great calorie burn to the older brother, as I felt as though I was back in my track days trying to catch Mr. Busy! I love those busy guys! Miss Mellow did essentially whatever I wanted, and even let her brother do whatever he wanted! I definitely can't wait to see this family again!
Quick kisses for the camera, and now time to run!

Loves being a BIG Brother!
Welcome to the world, Little Miss Mellow!
Family time!

Autism Awareness Month

One of my many favorite pictures of Reese. He always has the greatest smile!

Best-dressed kid on the block!
Reese-Man (and his family) holds a special place in my heart. I have known him since he was 12 years old, and shorter than me. Currently, he is 19, and about a foot and half taller than me. I was lucky enough to get to take his Senior Pictures last year, and we both loved every minute of it! We ran up and down the hall, he had the spotlight all on him, and we got fabulous pictures.

Reese-man and I have a great bond. Often times,
I will come to his house, say "Hello" as I walk in the door, and immediately Reese is yelling "Kendra! Hi!" "Sit down!" How can anyone have a bad moment when someone so anxiously wants to see you! Despite being so tall, there are so many times when Reese thinks he is much smaller than he actually is! Case in point, see below. "Umm, Reese, your legs are almost reaching the floor." He will still sit in my lap at times, at which point my 5'3" frame disappears behind his 6'3" frame.

The best thing about this session though, was the ability to give Reese-man's mama Senior Pictures, and beautiful pictures to adorn their walls and desks. Reese can often be impatient, and want to be "all-done" quickly. I so wanted to capture the Reese I know, the goofy, funny, smiling guy he is. I wanted it to be a session that his mama didn't have to worry about what others thought, a session to be able to relax and enjoy, without having to do the chasing. Reese-man's mama is one of the most selfless people I have ever met, and I am honored to call her a friend. Reese-man's Mama, you are the best. You are raising the best kids, and you are one of the best people I know. Thanks for your knowledge, your compassion, and your friendship above all else.

Kids, thanks for being gorgeous. And FUN. You make this job a dream.

Busy body, busy body, busy body CRAWL!

I was so lucky to get to spend some time with little Mr. K the other day! He is *the sweetest* little boy ever. He came to me immediately, and we got right down to play. He crawled, I laughed, and then he crawled some more. Away from me. Luckily, we had a great relationship, so me getting in his face every once in a while worked out for the best. He's the youngest of 3 handsome little boys, and Oh Boy! I'd love to be a fly on the wall at that house some days! Hahaha!

I think that this one was my favorite picture from the session. Such a handsome little guy!

#1 Broncos Fan

Oh I ALMOST FORGOT! When we were taking pictures, people were walking back and forth throughout the hall. He generally liked looking at everyone, but then when the ladies walked by, he really watched them, then gave them this face! Watch out for this kid 15 years from now!

Spring AHEAD!

What a day today was! Spring Ahead 1 hour! These two lovelies decided to wake up at 4:00 am, and by the time we had to leave this morning, KJ was feeling how she looks on the left. Soooo tired, which induces tears, which made me think back to this day. She had just been crying over wanting the latest "One Direction" song to be turned up, so her brother went to comfort her.  This will be what I forever term my "money shot," because I caught this! If you knew my kids, you would know how fast they move, and you would have a hard time believing I caught this too. Anyway, the day got better, we all survived, and hopefully in a few days, we'll be used to the new routine.

Baby x 2!

Back in August, I got to take these pictures
for my friend Tiff. How exciting to
be able to tell people you are having
TWINS!!!!
While they were due in April, those little twins decided that they wanted to see their parents a little bit early. Born in February, they are still in the NICU, but getting stronger every day. Today was my lucky day to meet them! I even got to meet them before this beloved pooch.
Sorry, Ziggy, but I got to cuddle with one of them before you. And let me tell you Zigg, they are so cute, and so ready for you to be their guard dog!

I love to take maternity pictures, especially now after having two kids of my own. Everyone is so excited and ready for the "new normal," and it's fun to imagine what life is going to be like from now on for them! During this shoot though, we often talked about the OH MY GOSH-TWINS!! factor. Relax friends, even if they were a bit anxious about what was to come, I think they are going to be just fine.

Dear Baby P& Baby I, I sure can't wait to see you in these onesies, but you are definitely going to have to grow!! And I can't wait to watch that happen! Welcome to the world lovely babies!
